Hallo-weee! What's everyone dressing up as?
I'm considering dressing up for the first time in 5 years. I want to go as Karl Lagerfeld but I can't find a decent silver wig.

So I was listening to the radio today and this song came on by Jordin Sparks:

and I thought "Hmmmm...."

Looks like her and I are going to have to have a charity boxing match, or a hotdog eating contest.

My iTunes says it would take me 67.6 days to listen to the 16,867 songs I have. I think I may take the next 2 months off and just listen to to my iTunes folder from start to finish.
I went to Jerry Finn's memorial last week. It was sad and poignant, but at the same time people were having a good time, telling stories about Jerry, talking about all the things he accomplished. It was nice to see guys from such a wide array of bands, Rancid, Green Day, the Vandals, Bad Religion, Sum 41, and Blink 182 all standing around reminiscing about a guy who touched their lives.

I saw Sigur Ros at the Greek in Hollywood. I've always thought they'd be boring and static live but it was actually an entertaining and emotional show.
I was supposed to go see NIN at the Forum last month but at the last minute my tix fell through. I heard it was, at least visually speaking, one of the best shows in recent memory. Anyone see them on that tour?

Saw Nick and Nora's Infinite Movie last night. Atrocious. Even the amazing Michael Cera was lackluster.
Movies are in a shambles. What was the last movie that made you want to see it 2 or 3 or 4 times in the theater? I think I saw Amelie 5 times in the theater. And Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, for some reason. And Braveheart. But not Titanic.

And wouldn't it be nice if there was some stellar new music to listen to? I've been enjoying the new Glasvegas, the Presets. And the Weeds soundtrack from season 3. There's a great song on there from the Great Lake Swimmers.
What about books, some of you must be into this Twilight phenomenon. Haven't read them. I heard the Tiger Army remix I did was supposed to be in the movie but something happened.
We all just need good film, art, music, and literature to inspire us, right? Like a horse shredding a solo on a saxophone.
