Davey and I Writing, 4/17

Slaving away over a hot batch of songs. This album is starting to take shape, it's exciting.

Went to a pretty interesting affair a few nights ago at the Troubadour. Tom Morello was having a charity show/jam session to benefit the homeless. Saw some fairly impressive all-star jams. "Superstition" with Stewart Copeland of the Police on drums, Flea on bass, Tom Morello, Slash, and Steve Vai on guitars and Perry Farrell on vocals. It was cool seeing all these virtuoso performers in such a small club. Davey did "Fire Woman" with Steve Vai, Tom Morello, and Travis Barker, and then did "Ant Music" duetting with Perry Farrell.

What else. Nick 13 and I did some advanced shopping on sunday, 5 hours worth. He's a force to be reckoned with. That's all for now, but I'm going to try to be more prompt with my posting. Oh, by the way, I heard the new Motley Crue song today and it's pretty boss. Original line-up, sounds like Dr. Feelgood era Crue.

p.s. Darth Vader wins both!? What's so sexy about him? The heavy breathing? The Nintendo 64 controller glued to his chest?

Hallo. Since someone apparently posted an incorrect tracklisting for the EP, I'll post the real one for the first time:

1. Fainting Spells
2. Carcinogen Crush
3. The View From Here
4. Ether
5. 100 Words

It will be out soon(ish), promise.

Tardy tardy.
My lack of posting has been due to my overall busy state of affairs but I must apologize nevertheless.
Bamboozle was tres fun, although freezing. Did anyone see Smith do the somersault onto stage in the middle of the set?

Writing is going very well with AFI, lots of new songs. Lots of new Blaqk Audio songs too, which I'm writing in the cracks of time between AFI and generally living life.

Also, the EP is most definitely alive and well and coming out. It's just taking a little longer than anticipated, like most things in this world.

Now go do your taxes.
