So I was looking for a certain picture of Smith, which I googled, which led me to Buzznet, where I discovered a huge trove of pictures. Now you may not believe me when I say this, but I have never in the history of the internet Googled myself or searched my own name, so it was very interesting to see all these pictures of old hairstyles, clothing, shows, things that I had totally forgotten about. Like this:
We were on Warped tour in like 2004(?) and this guitar magazine wanted to do a shot with me and Tim and Lars from Rancid, which we did in a dirt field with the sun shining in our eyes. Totally forgot about it.
Also found many, many comics and drawings, the majority of which feature Davey and I.
I like this one because it looks like I'm playing a harmonica.
By the way, the picture of Smith I'm looking for is the one where he's in a van make a ridiculously surprised expression with a mouth that looks like you could fit a bowling ball in it. Anyone have it?

I'm not sure how I would feel if I were in your position Jade, seeing all those drawings of yourself and Davey must be a little awkward.

that magazine with you and rancid was the first afi-related magazine i ever bought after i fell in love with you guys. aww, sweet memories!
I know who the artist of those drawings is, and they certainly weren't meant to be 'creepy', children. They were meant to be cute/silly. Not to mention they weren't even the artist's conception ... They were drawn requests.
If you all so desire to see true creepiness, I suggest you delve a little further into the 'Javey' fandom --- I assure you these adorable drawings will seem quite tame in comparison.
Also, I'm perfectly certain Jade wouldn't have posted these if he was 'creeped out' by them --- And I do hope it takes more a few cutesy chibi drawings to scare Mr Puget.

Have you read any of your fanfiction? Some of them are quite intriguing. I read this one fic and I cried for days before I could even finish the story. Others have made me laugh. There are some that you really and truly don't wanna read, they are either too erotic or just plain boring.
Off of the subject, though, will y'all ever sell t-shirts up to 4XL? I always need a giant night shirt to sleep in, one to cruise around town, and one to show off my AFI pride!

Why does Davey look like an elf in the first drawing? I want his scarf. God, I feel terrible for laughing at these. By the time I read the bathtub one, I was in danger of waking my mother in the other room.
I find it funny that you think it looks like you're playing a harmonica in that picture, because I always thought so too. I called it the Harmonica Picture. Very original, if you ask me.
P.S. The first thing I would do if I became famous is Google my own name. I'd spend hours laughing at the things people say about me. Then I'd spend a good fifteen minutes being pissed off at some of the shit-talkers out there.

For some real old skool internet search fun, try plugging a URL you've had for a long time (or one you had years ago) into the Wayback Machine (http://www.archive.org). It's an archive of web pages dating back to 1996, and it's kind neat-yet-creepy to see the ghosts of web pages long gone. I found a super-lame page I made for my Comp Sci class back in 1997 on there... the images are gone, but the snarky teenage attitude is still fully intact. In fact, it looks like there's some pages from www.afireinside.net dating back to 2000 on there... Enjoy! :)

I'm going to admit right now that I am totally guity of reading "javey" fanfictions. I havnt read one in like 5 years but i'm definitly guilty.
I've never done any "javey" art but I did paint a picture of You, Hunter, Davey, and Adam standing in a square with your arms stretched out and hands linked, heads thrown back, with music notes spilling out of your chests. (overhead angle) Fantastic painting. I just moved but if I can find my portfolio i'll definitly post it to show you, because i'm rather proud of it. =)
P.s. It would be pretty boss if you played the harmonica.
