Ho(me), Ho(me), Ho(me)
It is one of those movies you HAVE to see in theaters. Visually, it is stunning! The story isn't great enough to rent it and watch it at home.
Heard the plot line is terrible- but the graphics are good.Your choice - but I wouldn't waste the money. I would go see Sherlock Holmes instead. It was very amusing.
It is totally worth it! That movie has some amazing graphics. I wish our world looked half as beautiful as in the movie. haha.
Don't worry Jade. I haven't seen this too and I don't want to see it, I don't like cartoons.
Naw, havent seen it either. I've heard pretty much good things though.
Don't worry, I haven't seen it either. What I have heard is that it's not that spectacular of a movie unless you go see it on the BIGGEST screen possible in 3D. I have yet to find the effort to do this...
I haven't seen it xD I really don't want to, I hate 3D movies because of the glasses and stuff...and my ass gets numb for sitting 3 hours. And I'm an real movie freak, but this one I don't want to see xD All of my friends saw it and they are like: WOW..Not interested. PS- I'm, like, the only fan of you and AFI from Croatia. Hope you read this, I'm your biggest Croatian fan :D
I haven't seen it yet either. If I do end up seeing it, I probably wont spend the extra money for 3D. Come to think of it, I'll just wait for DVD.
I haven't seen it either. Kind of want to but not sure how much.
It is ABSOLUTELY worth it! In the beginning you may get a little skeptical, but as it goes on it just gets better, and better, and better! At the end I didn't want it to stop. It is very realistic too! The most beautiful animations I've seen since Final Fantasy: Advent Children Complete.Go see it. It doesn't feel like 3 hours at all ;)and: Thanks for being awesome and blogging for us <3
You are not the last person, I haven't seen it either. I hear it's good, though. Worth wearing goggles for three hours? Maybe.
You are not alone. (Though I have 'heard' that it's worth it. *shrugs* Meh.)
You're NOT the last one ;)
no, i haven't seen it yet either....I'm holding out so that I can wear the goggles in the comfort of my own home haha, but let us know what you think.
yes! story line isnt the best, but visually it's amazing.
Most of the people who come to the movies seem to think it's pretty good... I don't know, I just work at the theater, I don't actually go see the shows. If I do, however, I'll let you know. :P
yup. id say go for real d
You aren't the last... I haven't gotten around to seeing it yet either!
Worth it. But... I had a headache afterwards.
I know I haven't seen it, so I wouldn't know. A lot of people tell me it's good though.
HAHAHA of course you would say that. The movie was good, nothing epic. I feel like some of the creatures in the movie lacked serious ingenuity. But over all it wasn't a bore and i didnt feel silly but I watched it on regular 2D. 3D gives me a headache i feel like i have to touch everything. i restrain myself so i dont end up looking all stupid next to someone who secretly wants to do it too.the point is if you dont want to go, dont. do the red box thing, besides my friend JUST watched Titanic last weekend and all those years of being ostracized from humanity for being the last one left, has not effected her in any (noticible) way =)
Yes, it is so worth it!
You are not alone. I'm normally all over something SF, but I can't seem to work up any enthusiasm for it--too much hype while it was in the making, I think. Doesn't matter anyway, since the only movie theater around burned down last Saturday. :(
despite the fact that the plot is just like dances with wolves or pocahontas, its incredibly beautiful and the creatures/technology as well as the 3-D make it worth it. I loved Avatar! :D
Don't worry, Jade. I haven't seen it either.
I heard it was WELL WORTH the goggles...and not worth it without the goggles. but I havn't seen it either
Jade, it is so worth it! I've only seen it in 2D, but hopefully going to see it in 3D tomorrow. My friend, however, has seen in in 3D four times (he doesn't have a life, lol) and says it blows his mind... every time. :D
More than worth it! I'd say that even if it required a scuba mask, it would still be worth it
i have not seen it either and have no desire to :P
Personally, I liked the movie in 3-D, I feel it made it more realistic, as weird as that sounds. The effects are better appreciated in my opinion, so I'd recommend it.Though in the end is your choice only :)Have fun!!!xoxo
its worth it. if you like sci fi anyway
don't worry jade i haven't seen it yet either but i did hear that its really good i don't know if i want to go see it or not oh yeah by the way i have some questions that i want to ask you but right now i only want to ask you one just for right now
Movie's is kind of whatever, I think its the cinematography that has everyone freaking out
it is totally worth it, Jade it's a beautiful life changing film.
I haven't either...heard the plot line sucked unless you are into postcolonialism. Effects are pointless without a good story to back them up. Wait to rent so you can break, skip, and end it in your own space
Hmmm I’ve heard a lot about Avatar. I was about to go to the theaters to see either it or Sherlock Holmes; but I always change my mind; because I always assume that all new movies are all hype and not worth the two and a half hours(average film length). I don't know I guess I can judge your opinion to be good considering you’re not a teenybopper. So may be I'll see it. Thanks for you opinion Jade(probably should read about it on IMDB before to get a better picture of what the plot is like though, gotta make an informed decision. Or I'll just blame you if it sucks. Just kidding)P.S best movie review ever. You beat roger Ebert
It was worth it for me to wear the goggles three times. It's EPIC. Just DO IT.
I haven't seen it, I really don't want to see it either. Don't do it, Jade! Oh I can't wait to see you in Nashville! I'm so excited, I'll be glad to say AFI will be my first concert ever! <3
it's definitely worth seeing. Great movie with great visuals, completely worth the 3 hours.
Absolutely! I was unsure about spending nearly three hours immersed in the world of Pandora, but I enjoyed it immensely! Definitely worth spending three hours in goggles.
ME TOO. Have you seen Youth in Revolt yet? I remember you made a post about it a while back 'cause it was set in Ukiah. I liked it.
Nah, I havn't seen it either. It personally doesn't appeal to me, so if I were you I wouldn't waste my time or money seeing it. :)
Well, tis pretty epic. And the goggles are wayfarers so it's not too bad. Story has been told a million times before but I still enjoy for the pretty visuals. The planet is done amazingly.
It's totally worth it.
I haven't seen it either, but my friend said she liked it in non-3d. She's seen it twiceee. I'm not that excited to see it really haha
It is SO worth it. Reminiscent of pocahontas, but still worth the three hours.
It is totally worth it!
YYYYYYEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSS!!!! But "The Nightmare Before Christmas" still has every movie ever made beat.-Kylie^_^
Oh yeah. It's a great movie. Kind of boring plot line, it's just futuristic Poccahontas, but the graphics are freaking amazing. :)
I do think so.
totally worth it! it's a definite must <3
Don't worry, I haven't seen it yet either but I do know I'm gonna see you guys in Charlotte and can't wait!
I haven't not seen it either... i have no desire to either...
I actually liked it, quite a bit. The visuals were quite amazing, even though the story was a bit overdone. And I liked the soundtrack.
You're not the last person, Jade. My friend and I have been "planning" to see it since it came out. And so far that plan has failed. But I have heard it's worth the 3 hours. But I guess you won't know unless you try it yourself!=)
You're not alone, I haven't seen it either! Apparently it's awesome though...
I haven't seen it yet either... I wanted to be able to say that I'm the last person on Earth who hasn't seen it yet, but it looks like I'm tied with Jade Puget. XDI know that the 3-D goggles are just like sunglasses, so no more of that red and blue, flimsy, fall-off-your-face-every-two-seconds crap.Go see it, and tell us what you think. I trust your opinions more than I do anyone else. XD
its ok i haven't either
I hate to break it to you, but Jade, you are. Though you're not missing much. It's just a bunch of blue people. Fighting to save a tree. Damn, I just gave it away, didn't I? It goes into more depth!!Don't let me sway your decision.ACK!! CALLBACKS!!! ROJO AND PEPPERSHOELACE ARE TRYING TO KILL ME!!!!Never. Mind.
Actually... I just commented, but I want to test something.... I want to know if you actually read your comments. Don't approve this comment, okay? XDSPAM SPAM SPAM SPAM SPAMMMM!!!!!Or maybe you'll approve this comment just to screw with me. Awww... crap. Now I KNOW you'll approve it after reading this. Why ARE you still reading this comment?Still reading?STILL?Sheesh, I guess I'll have to blab on and on until you lose interest. Today I ran headfirst into a mailbox. I was on my daily walk, and was listening to afi/blaqk audio as usual. But I slipped on a patch of ice, slid all over the sidewalk, and caught myself. I took another step, tripped, spun around (for fear of falling) and ran smack into the mailbox. It was rather painful.Okay, I give up. You're apparently still reading.
Well, first off, you are not the last person to see it, I believe that honor will go to me. Also, my son says to tell you, yes it is definitely worth it wearing the glasses :D
YES. I was a little iffy about it as well, but I assure you that it is awesome. The 3D effect is really nice.
I thought it was pretty good. But I guess that's up to you to decide.
In terms of visual presentation, it's basically my generation's Star Wars, in the sense that the technology's revolutionary and the presentation of the makeshift Earth 'Pandora' is truly amazing.Storyline is a bit like a futuristic Pocahontas, but that's alright, the technological feats makes up for it. I really like how Avatar didn't resort to using 3D cliches just because they had the technology/budget to. Instead of having things fly out at you for the sake of it, Avatar's 3D technology adds subtle depth to the film which makes it so much more believable, you feel as if you could walk right into the screen. But don't.Now go help support the project and go order your ticket online, it's only grossed around 1.4 billion dollars so far.
Totally worth it. AMAZING movie.
I haven't seen it but I feel the same and with how much everyone is going on about the movie (it's the best movie ever... Until they see another movie of course) it really makes me NOT want to see it now.
I haven't seen it either; I'd rather see Sherlock Holmes.
I know right I haven't seen it yet!! :)
Nope, you're not the only one. I haven't seen it yet. So if you go sometime soon be sure to post a review!
Don't worry, I havne't seen it... don't plan to either. XD
I haven't seen it!!! I don't like 3D stuff so...ner.
yeah. do it.
I haven't seen Avitar either...I honestly have no desire to either. Yeah, all of my friends are making fun of me, but I'm not gonna waste my time watching a movie that doesn't interest me.
Completely and utterly worth it. You'll be so engrossed in the movie that you won't even notice the goggles. ;)
Its worth it!!!I loved it.It reminds me of pocohantas (sp?)But its really good mhmm<3
YesThe 3D effect made me not even notice how long the movie wasIt was amazing =)Just remember not to have high expectations of any movie or you WILL be disappointed.
you should totally see it. i was in two minds as well, but well worth it. and it has to be 3D otherwise its just not the same. emmy
Heck yes, pal! See it IMAX!!
It was freakin AWESOME! You've got to go see it! It's like Pocahontas but even better and the garphics are breath taking! <3
Oh, most definitely.
I thought it was really good, but I didn't see it in 3D but I bet it'd be so much better in 3D
i definitely haven't seen it yet. and i'm probably not going to haha.there's no way i'm gonna sit through a 3-hr movie. i've tried before, and....i haven't been very successful haha
It's only worth seeing if you pay the crazy amount for 3D. Also, be warned that the plot is EXTREMELY similar to Disney's "Pochahontas" and "FernGully". Be prepared for frustration. The movie IS beautiful, but the plot is obvious and takes too long to wrap everything up. You know what's going to happen, so why don't they just hurry up and do it all-fricken-ready?!?!I'd say see it.
It was good. Go see it! Just expect to be dizzy afterward.
It's like an adult version of Pocahontas.I completely expected her to burst out in "HOW TALL DOES THE SYCAMORE GROW!?"So plot isn't anything special, but the graphics are a must see. However, paying for the extra bonus of 3-D...totally not worth it, in my opinion.
I haven't seen it either...but as much as I want to avoid paying the absurd movie ticket price, I keep hearing it's fabulous.
:) I actually really like that movie it was worth it.s
don't see it. My girlfriend and I saw it and we didn't get the craze. It has a very strong anti- American message and the effects weren't all that great. The plot has been done before so so so many times. It's a mixture of The Matrix, The Last Samurai and The Smurfs
I haven't seen it yet either...
No, it's not. Visually, Avatar is stunning, but it has serious issues in the plot construction, and is overtly racist. For one, the plot is essentially "Pocahontas in Space" (seriously, change the names and the setting and it's the same). On top of that, it resorts to a lot of classic racist tropes you might recognize from, say, colonialist literature. (White Guy enters Native Society, does all their own things better than them, and then saves them because he has Superior Knowledge of Both Worlds.)Sorry for the rant; it makes me so mad that nobody seems to notice or acknowledge that aspect.
I honestly thought it was better in 2D. I saw it both ways and I thought the colors looked better without the 3D. Worth seeing it either way!
Visually it's stunning, plot is crap
it looks like a really crappy movie, i dnt wanna waste mah money, id rather get CDs and conert tix, and ive been told its not the best movie.....
Me and my wife only saw it yesterday, so you're not the only one. And yes, it is worth wearing the goggles. It's a fantastic film, and the 3D in it is amazing!
No you're not!! I haven't seen it either. If you go see it, I will too! I heard it's pretty amazing to see, but it's no Lord of the Rings... heck is anything?
I'm not going to spend nine dollars plus change to get pissed off about blue people overcoming hegemony on some far away planet. The advancements in special effects will hopefully pop up in a more interesting story.
I havent seen it yet either...
I heard only good thing are the graphics so I'd say rather wait for Alice in Wonderland :D
yes. watch it.
It's definitely a must see movie! I didn't see it 3-D, but it was still amazing. The graphics are awesome, the characters are endearing, and the plot is quite thought-provoking.
no you're not the last one, haha i haven't seen it yet... lol.
I still haven't seen it and don't plan to anytime soon. If you're into cool graphics, then go see it. If you want a good story, don't go. I personally don't care about CGI and crap like that. I like movies where I can really get into the story. No one talks about how amazing the plot is because it's basically the same story as Pocahontas. If you really want to go see a movie, go see Sherlock Holmes. I thought it was hilarious!
Yes! It's so gorgeous to look at you'll forget you have the glasses on ;). Just remember to take them off when you leave the theater - or don't if you want to be super stylin'! The movie is more than worth seeing. It would probably fall flat (no pun intended) if you waited to watch in on a small screen without the 3-D effects, though. Do you have TIME for a 3-hour movie though?!
NOoooooi am not gonna watch that movie either b/c it sucks!! Just b/c $300 million dollars went into production dosent mean it's good. It's a movie dealing with science fiction. i effing hate science fiction. trust me jade, the collosal of money spent on this movie is for special affections and computer animation. visually I bet it's amazing but the movie itself is not good.
3d glasses are rad n all but THIS MOVIE IS LAMEthe graphics n effects are superb and put other movies to shame in that sensebut the plot and everything else is atrocious, wow man 3 hours of my life wasted on the shitty movie
I loved it.I'm not sure about the goggles though, 3D always makes my head hurt.
Fuck yeah it is! I've never seen a 3D film before so I was pretty amazed at some of the visuals, the plot line isn't anything ground breaking, but to be honest if I wanted to see a film that was original and made me think I'd go find some arthouse movie, not a multi-million dollar blockbuster. The glasses weren't really a pain either, I thought they were kinda awesome, haha.Whoever said it was apparently racist (??) seems to be forgetting something called personal interpretation. Besides, if you call this racist, then by default that would also apply to Pocahontas, Dances with Wolves and the other long list of films people are comparing it to, and I don't see anyone whining about them. Anyway, the plot isn't so terrible as to distract from everything else, if you can, you should probably see if not solely to see 3D put to an amazing use and mindblowingly awesome CGI, it really is a film that would probably lose most of it's value if not seen at the cinema, too.
I haven't seen it either... looks slightly boring..... Jade, I have a question for you. What key is your guitar tuned to in 'Fainting Spells'? I've been trying to play it but I can't get it.
It looks really good but the plot is pretty much Pocahontas I give it a 7.5 on scale of 1-10.
I either have not seen the film
I haven't seen it yet. I've heard it was good though.
i havent seen it yet either...but from what i hear its amazing
don't worry you're not alone. haven't seen it and i have absolutely no desire to.
I would either see Sherlock Holmes or Daybreakers...ewww i can't wait for Alice In Wonderland((((Johnny Depp)))) oooooh la la ; )anywho u guys need to come back to NJ/PA, PLEASE!!!Hope all u guys are well.Endless love and respect for all tht u do.Melissaxoxoxoxoxo
it is sooo worth seeing but when i went the 3d was sold out so i had to see regular. trust me i was questioning whether it was worth seeing or not and then i saw it and it was amazing. it was like having my face shredded off it was so awesome.
No, you're not the only one who hasn't seen it. I've been sick for EVER and haven't left my house to do anything. That's why I'm commenting. I have nothing else to do. Not that you're blog is the last on my Thing To Do List, but I'd rather be outside in the fuckin' cold Canadian snow right now.
I haven't seen it yet. It looked pretty good, and my parents even want to see it! Now that's weird. Even my dad. If it wasn't a school night and if I didn't have to study for some dumb science quiz on plants, then I would search On Demand for the movie Jennifer's Body or The Unborn. Now those are some awesome movies....if you like scary movies. The first one is rated R, the second PG-13. Weird, I though I never liked scary movies.I'm still 1000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000% and more sure I'm in love with Jade! Can't wait to buy the next Blaqk Audio album!!!!!!PS. The Crash Love AFI stick-on poster on my wall has all of you on it. Don't tell Adam that he's always staring at me at night. If only you were staring at me all night. Now that I'd enjoy!Hahah...!!!! LOVE YOU JADE!!!! THAT WAS A SUPER LONG POST.... LOVE YOU JADE!!!!!!!!
AMAZING! sem-interesting plot and REALLY cool graphics. 3-D isn't really optional here. As an added bonus, Sigourney Weaver's in it! i think they should make a law that you HAVE to see all movies in which Sigourney Weaver so much as makes a cameo. lol :D I do think you should see it.
Jade, watch it right away!! It's one of the most amazing movies I've ever seen, and I'm not even exaggerating! The guy spent 15 years writing the script, and the graphics are hella good, you're missing out!
It is a good movie, but it might make you feel like going on a killing spree. Well, it did for me but only because humans are horrible. I didn't watch it in 3D though, I'd have died of fright and headaches.
Neytiri is very sexy. She pretty much makes the whole movie for me.
I really enjoyed the movie... other than the genetic creation of an alien creature without any concern for the implications... okay I wont preach, sorry, but I did watch all 2.6 hrs of it with the goggles and I totally thought it was worth it. I almost saw it twice- as it is one of those you just HAVE to see in the theater...
No! No! No!
You aren't alone, though I have heard it is fantastic.Do you know what is depressing on the topic of movies? That Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland won't come out for another two months I think! :(
Totally worth it. But I only allow you to see it in 3D...its the only way to see it in my opinion. I wouldn't have liked it the regular way.
Oh and I didn't have to wear goggles...they looked like sunglasses...and had a warning and everything saying that it doesn't protect you from UV rays and not to wear them as sunglasses...
dances with wolves in space but with AWESOME cinematography and no Kevin Costner!
I saw it yesterday, you should see it cos its a great movie. last week I felt like you.
I didn't see it in 3-D but it was pretty cool. It was one of those movies where you just say "how?"
This movie MUST be seen in 3D, in theaters. It just soooo purty!
Don't do it.Just don't do it.
You're not the last person to see it. I'm going to see it tomorrow hopefully. It looks worth it to me. Seems like it is something you have to see in a cinema...
I've heard it's good but it's not neccesary to see in 3d. :)
ya'know I think I'm Gunna have to take your word for it. I just watched the trailer for it and it really sounds like a waste of three hours. Based on the trailer it sounds like a cross between Transformers and LOTR. Thanks once again Roger Ebert aka JP (I’m sorry if that annoys you, but honestly I'm an annoying person)
It's a waste of time. tbh, losts of movies out today are shitty. the movie may look cool but it's just visuals everything else sucksthe last good movie i saw was inglorious basterds. check it out
My New Years' resolution is to grow a bigger penis. than i will impress the ladies. Sincerely yours, Little Sausage
you'll be wasting your eyesight for 3 hours on a crappy ass movie. it's not worth it.it's very star wars-esque. definitly not worth it.
Eh.. I haven't seen it yet... I heard it was pretty good though.
i heard avatar changed the way movies will be made FOREVER. wow.
ive never seen it but ive heard its really good by a large number of people.
its alittle suggestive in a religous sense...only alittle...and the lingo is kinda cheezy...but the the visual effects are very good...and the plot is somewut predictable but i thought it was a good movie despite all that.
Plot is terrible, character development is predictable, and graphics are phenomenal. I still don't think there is really any NEED to have it in 3D. Maybe that's just because in my world 3D should only be used when Captain EO shoots lasers.
So worth seeing! I went with my best friend and we loved it. The graphics are amazing... However our dads saw it, too and thought it was like "Pocahontas" on steroids.
For those who HAVEN'T seen it - you really are missing out. This movie uses "RealD" the new standard for 3D technology, which is less strenuous on the eyes and provides the best 3D effects. The 3D is designed to immerse you into the world, not as a gimmick. The basic plot has been done before, but who cares, Cameron completely makes it original. It may be almost 3 hours long but you will never be bored for a single second. It's the second highest grossing movie of all time for a reason :POh & lol at it being a "cartoon".
you have to see the movie! its so cool. its honestly worth wearing the glasses to see it in 3D. its kinda weird with the whole "blue people" idea, but still amazing when you watch it.
No, you're not. I haven't seen it either :) don't really want to, I'd probably run out of popcorn before it ended (and wouldn't that be a tragedy) but I did see Sherlock Holmes (twice!!) and it was the most epic thing ever. highly recommend that one.
Don't worry, I haven't seen it too...
Don't worry. I haven't see it yet either.
Blue Pocahontas and blue John Smith through faux Wayfarers...fine if you don't mind doing that for three hours... it was zero Fahrenheit that day so I was OK with it.
if your a 3D fanatic, def go watch it, but if ur more of a plot person, don't. The story is very predictableand if ur a WoW fan, the whole movie seems to be a quest for flying mount....
That movie reminds me of Transformers. Not even the good Transformers, the second, slightly crappy one. Of course, without ROTF (NOT rollingonthefloorlaughing, Revenge of the Fallen) I would have never picked up the term "Stupid Genius" and Allison would live a normal, "STUPID GENIUS!!"-free life. Yayuh.
It's pretty good. The graphics are amazing, the plot line needs surgery. It's like that Tik Tok song. I don't know how, but it is.(What does P. Diddy feel like in the morning?!?!?)
dude, it's actually amazing. 3 hours goes past like 1 hour. so so so so so fucking good mate :D
Nope you're not the last! I'll probably never watch it :/
it is the best movie of 2009 i think. i loved that movie so much.. Now i want to draw AFI Na'vi style lol.
I havent seen it and I don't plan to lol
My brother went to see it with my parents. It didn't interest me. They didn't see the 3D version, but he said it's probably annoying to have the 3D glasses on that long. He said that it's a beautiful film but that the story is pretty much Disney's Pocahontas in space.
Nike says it best: Just do it.
don't worry...i havent seen it either:)
i haven't seen it yet either jade. don't worry. xD
I just saw it.As I see people have said before, the graphics are amazing. And I really enjoyed the first 2 hours. They were really entertaining and interesting. But then at the beginning of the third hour, it really began to get into the actual plot. Which, was just another example of how disgusting and selfish humanity is. Like, that I'll-do-whatever-I-need-to-as-long-as-I-get-money attitude. But other than that, I thought it was really good. :P
I have not seen it yet either. Looks stuuuuuuuuuupid to me.
I haven't see it either...I just got to see Star Trek on pay-per; I'm slightly behind on my movie viewing.
OMG I havent seen it either!!!! Everyone says it is good, so I guess I should see it. That is if I can get out of my busy working schedual for once in a lifetime.
Don't worry, I haven't seen this either! BUT, I *did* hear some good reasons to go see it (seriously, I didn't make this up...):BLUE BOOBS IN THREE-D!
It's worth it! That movie has Super amazing graphics. I haven't seen it yet but all my friends did and they all said it was amazing. The plot/story isn't great, but it has pretty good graphics. I say you should watch it :D
You should absolutely see it Jade! It's beautiful and actually has a great story! At least I think so. :P :)
WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT!! You haven't seen itI couldn't stop sticking my fingers out and feeling the air - it felt so real I swear it was that real. I want to be an avatar too damnit! James Cameron is a genuisGO SEE IT JADE in real 3-D imax for that "Xperience" and trust me you want it!
Haven't seen it either. It seems like fate
i haven't seen it and i have no intentions of seeing it. i think it's absolutely ridiculous to spend that much money on a movie when there are much more worthwhile things the money *could* be spent on. it's nothing more than a pissing contest. at his point, how about donating some of the insane profits to relief efforts for Haiti?
Haven't seen it either. While visually it sounds great, the plot seems kind of meh. Maybe when its on video...
i havent witnessed this event... i think the idea of being 10 years old boggles the mind of americans.it is definately overpriced but james cameron did an amazing idea of being only his second movie and if you think back in 2000-2005 no one was doing imax 3-d with movies.thats what i think is the most amazing part about it.he's ahead of his time even though he is an old fart.how was petaluma? i saw the tweet..you guys gonna play "cereal wars" in santa cruz???i'm gonna keep asking. even if you dont read my comment.
Jade! see if it's worth believe me
Its a beautiful movie. The 3D is really cool. Its kind of a love story. I liked the story line. You need to see it.
You should watch it in 3D imax, it's really cool!
basically, it's good if you enjoy good animation. the story was super cliche and a little bit lame.
I watched it...and I'm cheap as hell. It was great in my opinion. And biacth you heard wrong! 3 hours of a terrible plot? Um no.
http://punditkitchen.com/2010/01/20/political-pictures-horse-trapped-well-not-union/#commentsI think Basement Horse is in trouble. And yes you should see Avatar. It's amazing and I doubt the DVD will do it justice.
No worries. I haven't seen it either.
Sounds too hyped up to me, despite being directed by James Cameron. Also heard the plots not too great.I honestly have no interest in seeing it either myself. :/
oh lord, yes. I saw it twice and didn't walk out saying 'I just wasted 6 hours of my life.'
You and me both!
it's got your run of the mill, formulaic plot structure with the concept of the hero's journey every where you look, typical black and white characterizations, but it is a visual masterpiece. We waited 10 years for it though. James Cameron...I prefer Titanic or Alien if you're gonna watch James Cameron.
