I know him but it's not like we're besties, yet he's the coolest, most down-to-earth, nicest guy. With all the douchey unfriendly tools out there in rock land, it's nice that some people are real human beings.

In honor of the birthday of one of the greatest humans ever, my brother Smith, I'm reposting some of his fine moments. Happy birthday, Smith.

About Dave Grohl, he seems to be one of the few people in the music industry thst no one has a bad word about, he just seems like a genuinely decent guy. I met him outside of your guys' Vancouver show in January. Nice dood.
Oh Smith, how I love thee. My favorite Smith moment happened at the last show on the Crash Love tour in Omaha. There was this crowd surfer, the guy had to have been about 350 pounds and nobody was enjoying his presence...Then from the left side of the stage flies Smith and he just jumped on this guy and road him like a surfboard until both of them were dropped to the ground. Smith showed good form and has obviously perfected the art of the stage dive.
Crowd surfing is dumb kids. You crowd surf and Smith will surf YOU.

dude i was watching the smith videos and my dog decides hes gonna watch them with me so i was watching last one and smith like jumped or somthing well my dog tilted his head to one side it was funny
